Dr. Yang Bai Receives the 2023 “Scientific Exploration Award”!
Our CEPAMS group leader Dr. Bai Yang from IGDB campus has been awarded the prestigious “Scientific Exploration Award” for the year 2023!
The “Scientific Exploration Award” is a philanthropic prize funded by the New Horizons in Science Foundation and led by scientists. It is dedicated to promoting the spirit of “focusing on the future, rewarding potential, and encouraging exploration” among young scientific and technological workers. The award recognizes their unwavering dedication to exploring uncharted territories in science. The award encompasses ten fields of basic science and cutting-edge technology, and each year, no more than 50 winners are selected. Each recipient will receive a total of 3 million RMB in prize money over a span of five years, making it one of the most prestigious and financially significant youth talent support programs in the country.Established in 2018, the Scientific Exploration Award has provided support to a total of 248 young scientists over the past five years. These recipients hail from 26 cities and 90 research institutions, with an average age of 41 years.
